The Digital Humanities conference 2012 will be hosted by the University of Hamburg. In addition to the core conference, the Hamburg meeting will also serve as founding meeting for a German DH association. The DH2012 is expected to draw approximately 400-500 scholars from all around the world for five days of academic discourse and networking. We anticipate the Hamburg event to be the biggest Digital Humanities conference to date.
Over the last two decades, the DH has provided not just a discussion forum that has led to tangible change and evolution within the discipline, but an essential opportunity for academics to meet, exchange and to gain new experiences.
Target audience: academics, researchers, academic institutions, libraries, funding agencies
Former sponsors: publishers, media, computer technology industry, software developers and others
